Cetina canyon: rafting, zip-lines & canyoning

Just inland from Omiš, the Cetina river carves a deep green canyon through the mountains — and it's become central Dalmatia's adventure playground. A half-day here is the perfect antidote to too much beach.

Rafting

The classic trip is a gentle-to-lively rafting run down the Cetina through the gorge — fun for families and first-timers, with swims in emerald pools along the way. Trips leave daily in season from Omiš.

Zip-lines & canyoning

A zip-line course strung across the canyon sends you flying over the river on a series of cables. For something wetter and wilder, guided canyoning takes you scrambling, sliding and jumping down the side streams.

The river's source
