Morning — Roman Pula

Start at the Arena, one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres anywhere, still used for summer concerts. Walk to the Arch of the Sergii and the Temple of Augustus on the old Forum, then up to the hilltop Kaštel for the view. See our museums of Pula guide.

Head out to the Verudela peninsula for a swim in the clear coves, or take a boat to the Brijuni islands if you have a little longer.
